Glasgow Botanic Gardens engagement session

On a bright winters’ day, I made my way across Glasgow to meet the lovely Carla and Michael for their engagement session. We met in Glasgow West End and wandered along the spots where they had their first dates. It’s always such a privilege to photograph people somewhere that means so much to them – this was no exception. We had a quick stop at Glasgow Botanic Gardens, inside the beautiful glasshouses, before finishing off further up Kelvin Walkway at golden hour.

I love meeting couples before their weddings and elopements like this - it's so nice to photograph them in the excitement and anticipation, and get to know them a wee bit better before the big day. It's so fun turning up to a day knowing that the couple are already your pals!
